Meet Our Team

Joshua Levin-Epstein is an attorney and founder of ADA Compliance LLC.   His litigation practice focuses on contract disputes, unfair competition and restrictive covenants, bankruptcy disputes, judgment enforcement, and asset recovery. He has represented clients in prominent matters relating to adversary proceeding litigation, the reclamation and recoupment of property under state and federal law, pre- and post-judgment enforcement, cross-border judgment enforcement, shareholder disputes, and litigation involving substantial claims. 

Mr. Levin-Epstein has lectured at the Foreign and International Law Committee of the New York County Lawyers’ Association and serves on several committees within the New York City Bar Association.

Mr. Levin-Epstein received a B.S. in Foreign Service from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, where he was awarded several merit-based scholarships. He received his J.D. from The University of Michigan Law School.  Mr. Levin-Epstein subsequently served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Alan H.W. Shiff in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Connecticut (Bridgeport Division).

Jason Mizrahi is an Associate at Levin-Epstein & Associates, P.C., a boutique law firm in New York City. His practice focuses on hospitality law, employment litigation, judgment enforcement litigation, bankruptcy litigation and contract litigation. He has extensive experience with claims involving labor law, breach of contract, bankruptcy and intellectual property matters, and frequently represents businesses and individuals in state and federal court.

As a multi-faceted litigator, Mr. Mizrahi regularly advises food and hospitality industry leaders on real estate, wage-and-hour, employment and general business matters.

Mr. Mizrahi earned his Juris Doctor Degree from Brooklyn Law School, and his B.A. from the University of Maryland. He is admitted to practice in New York and in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Michael Hyman is a founding member of ADA Compliance LLC.  He has extensive operations experience and oversees the execution of ADA Compliance LLC’s client-focused business processes. A natural leader with experience representing owners in the New York City real estate market, Mr. Hyman understands and executes client needs. Mr. Hyman holds a B.A. in Marketing from Lehigh University. Additionally, his outstanding leadership skills earned him a place on the Queens Courier 2010 list “Rising 40 Under 40 Stars.”

Trip Tate is an advisor to ADA Compliance LLC. Mr. Tate cofounded and acts as COO at Alumnifire, a technology platform that provides networking communities for alumni and affinity groups. Before co-founding Alumnifire, Mr. Tate worked at The Topps Company, where he helped build three Apple-featured apps that reached more than 100,000 users. Prior to his work at The Topps Company, Mr. Tate was an influential member at Patch.com, where he led scaling and product development efforts, helping engage more than 200,000 small businesses. He was also the primary architect of Patch’s successful expansion, which entailed hiring more than 1,000 people, and collecting directory content from over 1,000,000 small businesses. Mr. Tate holds a B.S.E. in Operations Research and Financial Engineering from Princeton University.
